EDUCATION
ORNG Ink is the youth driven, interdisciplinary Art
and Design Studio of Valley Arts created by high school students from Orange New Jersey in 2008.
Its mission is to engage young people in the development and maintenance of a sustainable commerce-based creative enterprise driven by self-expression and exploration in visual, performing, and literary arts and digital media. We provide studio, retail, exhibition space, and mentoring for young artists through yearlong free out-of-school programs that emphasize self-initiated education, motivation and evaluation.
With a primary focus on the intersection of art and culture relevant to urban youth we equip students with necessary knowledge and employable skills in creative fields that interest them, while encouraging them to develop a positive, intelligent and independent creative voice within the community.
Free of charge after school program Monday to Friday 3:00 - 6:00.

ValleyArts Studio Residency Light Work Music
Over the last 6 months as resident artist at the Ironworks has been a wonderful learning and work experience we have recorded a Mixtape/Album with Sound Box Bandits and are in the process of working new music.
Lessons on the music production programs Reason 5 and ableton live with plans to showcase some production in the near future.
At Light Work Music we strive to produce a signature sound that cannot be duplicated. A sound that is heard, but more importantly felt. Our catalyst to ambition is our shared outlook on creativity, innovation, and tenacious drive. These characteristics are also imbedded in the music we create. We are always in search of new sounds and talent to work with to keep our musical palette fresh. Our production team serves individuals, independent, and major labels. By establishing a bond with our customers we create a product that is original and unique. The relationships we construct yield to an enormous web of talented individuals we consider extended team members. This bond and teamwork allows the adage many hands make light work stand true.

As a professional producing organization, Luna Stage is committed to educating our communities’ future artist citizens. As an expression of this commitment, Classes @ Studio Luna provide students the opportunity of working with professional artists. Playwrights, actors, directors, and choreographers all bring their experience working on Broadway and leading regional theatres, in TV, and in film to our students in a safe, nurturing, and challenging environment.

Classes @ Studio Luna are both fun and challenging. Whether you are new to the theatre arts, a passionate practitioner, or are rediscovering a dream of playing on the stage, Studio Luna has a class for you. Our students are encouraged to explore their imaginations to their fullest. Using improvisation and theatre games, they learn a process that leads to spontaneous reactions and genuine truth on stage.
The personal attention Studio Luna devotes to each student teaches them that their individuality shines strongest when they use it as part of the greater whole. Studio Luna’s emphasis on self expression and cultivating each student’s unique perspective leads to strong ensemble work and artistic collaboration.
