Michael C. Malbrough

Michael is a professional illustrator/graphic designer from Orange, NJ. Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, Michael began his art career as a resident visual artist with Open Space Arts, a non-profit community arts center. While designing and producing puppets, murals, shows and workshops with the organization Michael learned the value of mentorship and community development through the arts. Michael moved New Jersey to in 2002 to pursue a career as an illustrator and graphic designer, and worked for 6 years as the lead graphic artist for RawBlue Apparel, an established urban clothing line. Michael has self published his own graphic novel, developed a show for the NYC Fringe Festival and facilitated workshops at various colleges and universities on various forms of collaborative art-making.
